Dutch police detain 303 Lille fans in Amsterdam as French side take on Ajax

Dutch authorities say they have detained 303 Lille supporters in Amsterdam as the side take on Ajax in the Champions League.
Amsterdam authorities said the fans were supposed of”disturbing public order, light off terror and violence” in town centre.
Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, police tweeted that they were current at Strandvliet subway station”in which a huge group of soccer fans disrupted public order”.
They followed that by tweeting:”Approximately 100 Lille fans arrested for disrupting public order, lighting fireworks and violence. Authorities are investigating further.”
That amount was updated to more than 300 with a statement shortly after kick-off which said that the supporters were being arrested during the city.
